No, these bracelets are made using gold-filled beads that, with a little care, will offer the same strength and durability as solid gold. Gold-filled pieces differ from gold plating, in that there is more gold used and the gold is bonded to the base metal through heat and pressure, as opposed to a flash plating which is done through an electrochemical process.
