No. These bracelets are made using gold-filled beads that, with a little care, offer the same strength and durability as solid gold. Gold-filled differs from gold plating in that far more gold is used, and it’s bonded to the base metal through heat and pressure — rather than a flash plating applied through an electrochemical process. This makes gold-filled jewellery far more durable than other gold-plated pieces.
